My name is Mike Bedford and I am the Founder and CEO of Bee-Brilliant People Development LTD.
I am an Award Winning Coaching Leader, HR, People and Organisational Development Expert and one of the Top 80 Neurodivergent Leaders in the UK to follow (2023).
I am a fiercely proud to be Neurodivergent and founded my business Bee Brilliant People Development to make a difference and with a very clear mission and purpose.
To inspire, inform and enable change. To create better opportunities for Neurodivergent people in the workplace and to help Leaders and Organisations embrace, empower and enable Neurodiversity in the workplace.
I believe the workplace is where change is required and by working with bold, brave and courageous Leaders, decision makers and Organisations who are committed to change, positive and sustainable cultural change can be achieved, change that leads to Neuroinclusive workplaces where all forms of Neurodiversity is embraced, nurtured and celebrated to support innovation and diversity of thought in the workplace.
I am committed to educating and raising the profile and awareness of Neurodiversity in the workplace and how organisations can benefit from the many strengths Neurodivergent people have to offer. I do this through a blend of storytelling and sharing my own lived experience.
But it's fair to say that I couldn't support and influence Leaders and Organisations to change just solely based on storytelling, as powerful as it is. No, I draw upon over 20 years experience working in large and complex Organisations, where I've developed and honed my skills and craft as a People Professional - specialising and qualified in HR, L&D, OD, ED&I and Coaching.
I blend lived experience, passion, context with a hearty dose of pragmatism, expertise and knowledge of how to affect and influence change inside Organisations. I might add I also bring a completely different perspective to anything I do.
Our mission is to support Leaders and Organisations to create Neuroinclusion and to build Neuroinclusive workplace cultures.
We offer a range of competitively priced Training, Coaching and People Development solutions to support this change, including consultancy.
We live and breathe equity, inclusion and belonging. Our ethos is built around supporting, empowering and enabling Neurodivergent Talent but we believe this must be done through the lens of Intersectionality, as Neurodiversity cuts across boundaries and can affect us all as Human Beings whether directly or indirectly.

The Bee is a metaphor for bee'ing your authentic self and reinforces our core value of authenticity. We understand that most ND'ers have spent their lives trying to fit in and not be their true selves for all kinds of reasons.

We know, from lived experience and through our clients, what happens when you are forced to wear a mask in the workplace, to build a forcefield around you, to camouflage to "fit in" and to live your life in a way that is not authentically aligned with your values. It is mentally and physically exhausting and we work with Leaders and Organisations to help prevent this toxic culture.
We believe that by helping people be their authentic selves, this enables them to be the best version of themselves and to achieve their true potential.

We are not your average Coaching, Training & People Development business, nor do we aspire to Bee so. We exist to make a difference and that involves having challenging conversations and asking tough questions which we are not afraid to do.
